Camcorder battery maintenance
Charge
1. when first use (or a battery have not used for a long time), the lithium camcorder battery charging time must be over 6 hours, Ni-MH battery must be more than 14 hours.
2. it normally takes a few charge / discharge process to achieve the optimum efficiency.
3. try not to repeat charge to ensure battery life when battery still with residual electricity.
4. fully charged camcorder battery is very hot, it should be cooled and then loaded into the camcorder.
Use
1. in order to extend the shooting time, you'd better not to use the LCD viewfinder when shooting.
2. reducing the times of optical zoom (suggest to get the same zoom effect by changing the location of camcorders).
3. reducing the use times of flash.
4. pay attention to the integrity of the battery insulation, you should cement it with transparent glue if damaged.
5. turn the camcorder off when not in use.
Clean
1. keep the camcorder battery contact points and internal cover's clean.
2. if necessary, use a soft, clean, dry cloth to gently wipe it. Do not use chemical or other cleaning soluble detergent, such as thinner or solvent with alcohol, to clean your Camcorder, battery, or charger.
3. before charging, use a soft dry cloth to clean the camcorder battery contact points at both ends, keep the battery points clean as far as possible.
4. If the battery electrodes have emerged oxide, you need to wipe it out, if it is a serious oxidation case or even drop off, you should immediately replace the camcorder batteries.
Storage
1. when using Camcorders, ordinary users had better with a dedicated camcorder battery case.
2. store in a clean and wet place, avoid contact with metal.
3. for Ni-MH battery, keep with electricity is reasonable.
